Shah Rukh Khan is easily Bollywood’s biggest star for the last two decades and while he is busy these days with the promotions of Zero, he revealed an important aspect of his life. During one of the recent interviews, Shah Rukh was asked what is the most expensive thing he has ever bought in his life, and while there are many other unique items, he owns, the actor said that it was in fact his house in Mumbai.
Shah Rukh Khan owns a house in Bandra, one of Mumbai’s prime locations and it even faces the sea off Band Stand. The house which is estimated at over 200 crores, is one of the most flocked properties by fans across India. Interestingly, Shah Rukh went on to reveal the story behind the house and said that as a Delhite, the idea of a house is kothi, which is a huge bungalow but in Mumbai, it is an apartment. However, he initially married his wife Gauri Khan, he did stay in a flat but his mother-in-law said it was a really small house. So, when he did see Mannat, he was reminded of the houses in Delhi and he immediately bought the house.
On the film front, after Harry Met Sejal in 2017, Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero for 2018 has received mixed reviews. The film directed by Aanand L Rai also sees Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles as SRK plays the role of a vertically challenged man.
