Bollywood actresses Sonam Kapoor on Tuesday announced she will be marrying her longtime boyfriend Anand Ahuja on May 8. The couple will be exchanging vows in Mumbai amidst the Kapoor family and friends.
The couple announced the date of the wedding in a joint statement, saying “Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives".

The 32-year-old actress has been dating Anand Ahuja, a Delhi-based entrepreneur for the last few years in a steady relationship. The star couple has been spotted on many occasions together and the exchanging of the vows is only proof of their appearances.
Incidentally, Anand also accompanied Sonam to the National Film Awards in 2017 where the actor received a special mention for her ‘Neerja’ performance.
Sonam Kapoor will be seen in Veere Di Wedding along with Kareena Kapoor and Swara Bhasker which is set to release on June 1. She is also a part of Sanju where she will be playing Tina Munim and is slated to release later this year.
