Chef Vikas Khanna’s The Last Color film trailer to feature at Cannes 2018 

The chef talking about his newest venture said the film is a simple story capturing the richness of India in colours. It is about the simple thought of being denied the right to touch colour.

Renowned chef Vikas Khanna’s has donned many hats and while he has mastered being a chef, he has also dabbled with writing and has already authored a book. The Michelin-star chef’s The Last Color trailer will feature at Cannes 2018; it is based on a book written by him a few years ago by the same name. 

The chef talking about his newest venture said the film is a simple story capturing the richness of India in colours. It is about the simple thought of being denied the right to touch colour. The chef and author went on to add that filmmaking is definitely the most difficult form of storytelling but is also very effective. 

The 86-long-minute film will be his 31st literary work and will star actress Neena Gupta in the lead role. Interestingly, he has been at the Cannes in 2016 and 2017, making it three years in a row. In 2016, it was Kitchens of Gratitude, which was about his philosophy about how food removes differences based on caste, faith and religion. In 2017, it was his biopic Buried Seeds trailer that released at Cannes.
