Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom, tied the knot with his girlfriend in Italy, on Monday. The actor made the announcement on Instagram along with the fact that he is sad, he missed the Arctic Monkeys concert in Italy because his girlfriend made him get married to her instead.
Matthew Lewis met his girlfriend Angela Jones at the January 2016 opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park where she was working at the time. The couple started dating later in 2016 before he proposed to her in November 2017. Matthew shot to fame for his performance as Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter series where he played the self-doubting character.
However, he gained a lot of attention for his physical transformation. The actor has appeared in Ripper Street, a television series and the films Me Before You and Terminal. Many fans congratulated the actor for the occasion by saying “50 points to Gryffindor!” among other wishes.
