Rana Daggubati replaces Nana Patekar in Housefull 4 amidst harassment allegations 

The Baahubali actor said he was happy to get such a role, especially one outside Hyderabad where he can learn so many new things.

The cast and crew of Bollywood film Housefull 4 have been involved in a lot of controversies recently, but things seem to be stabilising now after Rana Daggubati confirms he will be replacing Nana Patekar in the film. Ever since Tanushree Dutta accused the veteran actor of sexual harassment and he has denied the claims, the film has received a lot of criticism after Sajid Khan, was also was accused of harassment. 

While Nana Patekar reportedly quit the film a few weeks ago, there were rumours about Rana joining the team but it was confirmed only yesterday by the actor in an interview. The actor was narrated the script last week and immediately gave the nod for the role. The Baahubali actor said he was happy to get such a role, especially one outside Hyderabad where he can learn so many new things. The actor added that it would great to work with Akshay Kumar after Neeraj Pandey’s spy-thriller Baby, and even work with Sajid Nadiadwala and Farhad Samji for the first time. 

Housefull 4 is currently being shot in Mumbai and will also see actors like Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde. Akshay Kumar had recently asked producers to stop production amidst all the controversy and said they should continue only after all the people involved are cleared.
