Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin was arrested and charged for assault and harassment of a 49-year-old man following a dispute over a parking spot.
According to New York Police, the man sustained an injury on his left jaw after being punched by the actor and was taken to a local area hospital to be treated.
The 60-year-old actor was charged with assault and harassment and given a desk appearance ticket, the police added.
"Police got a call around 1:30 pm regarding an assault in progress. When we got there, we discovered that it looked like two individuals were fighting over a parking spot. The younger man had already parked his vehicle and was attempting to purchase a parking ticket, when he got into a dispute with Baldwin, who then punched him in the face, the officer reportedly said.
Baldwin is well known for impersonating Donald Trump on satirical US television show Saturday Night Live. The Oscar nominee recently launched a Sunday night talk show on ABC television.
