Fan actor, Shriya Pilgaonkar has turned many heads with her performance in multiple films, advertisements, plays and also as a director and producer. The multi-talented actress is all set for her latest project on the digital space with Viu’s upcoming series 13 Mussoorie.
Speaking on her deep rooted connection with Mussoorie, she revealed, “When I was 16, I was one of the winners of the ITC Young Authors contest and my story was published as a part of an anthology of stories, edited by Ruskin Bond called ‘Post Box number 90’. Although he was unable to attend the ceremony, I had grown up reading his stories and books that he has written. I have experienced Mussoorie through his writings, the way he has described and talks about being in nature, is entirely because of his stories.”
“Eventually, when I was older and was performing in Delhi around four years ago, I decided to go and meet him personally. I visited him at his house and it was just lovely. We chatted about many things including his books, the hills, nature and a lot more. It was more wonderful, because I got a chance to go back to this incredible place due to my show 13 Mussoorie,” she further added.
