Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is busy shooting for Brahmastra, with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, but a recent report has suggested she is shuttling to also shoot for Kalank at the time. The film which stars Madhuri Dixit, will see Alia dance, and she is leaving no stone unturned to get her steps right, as she is now getting trained in Kathak.

According to a recent interview, Alia is reportedly taking classes in between shooting for the two films as it is said she will be doing a dance sequence with Madhuri, who is known to be among the best dancers in Bollywood. While the pressure of dancing with the Dhak Dhak girl is immense, it looks like Alia does not want to get it wrong, as Madhuri is also a trained Kathak dancer. A source has revealed the duo will be doing an elaborate scene in the historical drama and since it is classical, it will reflect the era it is set in.

Interestingly, Alia has been undergoing the training for a year now and is being trained by Madhuri Dixit’s teacher Pandit Birju Maharaj. Pandit Birju has choreographed various numbers like Kaahe Chede and Jagaave Saari Raina, among others. Kalank is said to be a historical drama set in the 1940s in India and will also star Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt, among others.
