Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar have been busy shooting for their next Saand Ki Aankh in Johri, Uttar Pradesh for the past two months.
Taapsee reveals that the unit of the movie had a day off recently and made the most of the day by indulging in a movie marathon at a local theater in Johri. Their day consisted of watching three movies back to back. She says, "We went to a theatre right adjacent to the hotel in Meerut where the crew is staying and watched Gully Boy, Manikarnika (The Queen Of Jhansi) and Kesari back-to-back. It was a different experience to watch movies here as we are so detached from our lives in Mumbai."
Saand Ki Aankh is the story of world’s oldest sharpshooters — Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar from Uttar Pradesh, popularly known as ‘shooter dadi’. The film is being directed by Tushar Hiranandani and is an Anurag Kashyap production.
