SELMA, Oregon (AP) Charles Levin, famous for his role in comic settings like Seinfeld and Night Court, was reported missing on July 8 by his son.

The 70-year-old actor who is almost always in the company of his fawn-coloured pug dog, Boo Boo Bear, was identified by a resident along a remote, impassable road on Saturday. Prior to that, on Friday, search and rescue crews narrowed down a search area based on an emergency cellphone ping

While remains of the actor’s dog was found inside his orange coloured Fiat, the authorities found human remains further down the steep and rugged terrain. The Grants Pass Public Department of Safety say there is a “high probability” of the findings to be Levin himself, but a medical examiner is yet to confirm the same.

Levin also had roles in movies, including The Golden Child, Annie Hall and This is Spinal Tap.
