Akshay Kumar’s Bollywood film Kesari has successfully crossed the 100-crore mark and Parineeti Chopra is really happy about the film, in which she was going to only make a guest appearance. In a recent interview, Parineeti said she is glad to have done the film because it has taught her so much about the kind of actor she wants to be even though she started the film by doing it for fun.

Interestingly, #ParineetiChopra also revealed that #AkshayKumar constantly told her that she would be praised for the film even though it revolved around his character. The Namaste England actor said while she initially thought he was only being generous and kind to her, it actually turned out to be true. Complimenting Akshay further, Parineeti said Akshay is the most grounded superstar and he is very responsible and committed about work on set, and equally playful and fun-loving off it while also being unassuming and humble. The 30-year-old actor said with all the compliments they have received for the film, it is not really 100 crores anymore but instead 500 crores for her.

Riding on the success of Kesari, Parineeti will next be seen in the untitled Saina Nehwal biopic, Bhuj: The Pride of India, with Ajay Devgn. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar is busy with Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, Sajid Khan’s Housefull 4 and Karan Johar’s production called Good News.
