See pic: Ranveer Singh recreates the iconic Natraj shot of Kapil Dev for ’83

Actor Ranveer Singh is in full form as he nails the Natraj shot in the latest picture posted by the actor.

The photo is from his upcoming film ’83, based on the 1983 world cup, and the Padmaavat star is seen recreating the iconic shot from the series by former Indian cricket team captain, Kapil Dev. Ranveer captioned the picture: “Natraj shot”.

The Gully Boy actor shared his look from the film on his birthday and we must say, he has donned an uncanny resemblance to Kapil Dev for the film.

The cricketer himself taught Ranveer ace the Natraj shot. The actor even shared a video of the practice session.

Directed by Kabir Khan, ’83 also stars actress and Ranveer’s wife Deepika Padukone as Kapil Dev’s wife, Romi Bhatia. The rest of the cast, who play the role of other team members, include Saquib Saleem, Adinath Kothari, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Jatin Sarna among others.

The film is scheduled to release in April 2020.
