Actor Omari Hardwick faces backlash on Twitter for kissing Beyonce twice at an award show

Hollywood actor Omari Hardwick has faced a backlash from a lot of Beyonce fans on Twitter after a video of him kissing Beyonce at the 2019 NAACP Image award show on Sunday went viral. The actor is seen kissing Beyonce not once but twice, as she seems ‘uncomfortable’ the second time, according to many users, while Jay Z looks on, without an issue. 

At the awards show, Omari is seen sitting with Jay Z and Beyonce, and the kiss reportedly made Beyonce uncomfortable, and many Twitter users said the second kiss was unnecessary by the actor. The user went on to state that it is in such instances that many women get touched, kissed, groped and poked and they definitely do not like it. She went on to add that women should not let such moments slide, as another even said this is definitely a part of the #MeToo movement in plain sight. The user said such an instance is why the movement was necessary because no matter how powerful or famous a woman is, there will always be inappropriate men. The user went on to add that Omari disrespected not only Beyonce and Jay Z but also his wife and children and definitely needs to apologise for it. 

On the work front, Omari Hardwick is a part of the American drama series Power, where he plays the role of Ghost. On the other hand, Beyonce is currently enjoying the success of her 2018 album Lemonade and is rumoured to be working on her next album too.
