Many love stories have started on social media, and it is not only for regular people like us but also for celebrities. While Priyanka Chopra had earlier revealed that Nick Jonas and she spoke for the first time through a Twitter direct message, Sophie Turner has said the same with Joe Jonas. The Game of Thrones star said she first spoke to the older Jonas brother after he messaged her on Instagram.
In an interview with foreign media, Sophie Turner said, both Joe Jonas and she had a lot of mutual friends who had been trying to introduce them to each other but it never happened and that's when he messaged her on Instagram. Interestingly, they were already following each other on social media but had never spoken to each other till one day, when he took the first step. At the time, Sophie was 22 and Joe was 29, and soon after they started dating in November 2016. A year later, they were quite happy with their relationship and Joe Jonas even popped the question to her as they got engaged in October 2017.
Been in love for a little more than two years, there are rumours about the pair tying the knot this year, however, it is not going to be a grand ceremony, and will instead be an intimate affair, Sophie said. She even went ahead to compliment the American singer saying that he is the funniest person ever while also being energetic and positive, which balances their relationship because she is always pessimistic.
