Karan Johar unveils his wax statue at Madame Tussauds Singapore; shares picture with mother Hiroo Johar

After Deepika Padukone and Diljit Dosanjh, Bollywood’s most popular producer Karan Johar has finally got his wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Singapore. The Gully Boy producer unveiled the statue with his mother Hiroo Johar and a few close friends and family earlier on Thursday before sharing the pictures on Instagram. 

Karan can be seen sporting a blue blazer with butterflies, one of the many looks from Koffee With Karan Season 6, his popular talk show on Star World. Interestingly, it is also one of his famous poses of taking a selfie that has got him a place at the Madame Tussauds wax museum. Interestingly, Karan also launched an Ultimate Star experience at the museum, in a 2,500 sq metres space celebrating Indian cinema. All viewers will be able to dance and act like stars as they are by their side through interactive technology. Earlier, Diljit Dosanjh became the first turbaned star to get a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Delhi. Deepika’s statue was also received very well by all her fans, and her husband and fellow Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh too. 

On the film front, Karan Johar is set to launch Kalank on April 17 with Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Varun Dhawan in lead roles. He is also currently working on Student Of The Year 2 with Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey. After which he is set to work on Takht with Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor among others.
