Shahid Kapoor is back after the success of Padmaavat in 2018, with the remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy, as he plays a young surgeon Kabir Singh. The 38-year-old actor on Monday released the teaser for the film directed by Sandeep Vanga and he looks angrier than ever in the role played by Vijay Devarakonda in the Telugu original.
Shahid Kapoor is introduced as a medical student with an impeccable academic record, as he enters the class blowing smoke from a cigarette at the front door. However, it also shows him to have anger management issues as he abuses and beats up another student. If that wasn’t enough, he is also shown to be a very good surgeon on the table but while being addicted to drugs on the side. However, there is an interesting twist as he calmed down by the love of his life Preethi played by Kiara Advani, who he also shares a kiss with, and that ends up becoming their little secret.
