Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are having the time of their life after they tied the knot in December 2018. While they have faced a lot of flak for their relationship, they have always come out on top of it, and it couldn’t be a better love story. However, at a recent Women in the World summit, Priyanka revealed that while she did know Nick for over two years, she never thought she would marry him.
Priyanka said she did not know Nick and she would fall in love because it is probably her fault that she had 'judged the book by its cover'. The 35-year-old actor said Nick has surprised her on many occasions and that is why she even calls him Old Man Jonas or ‘OMJ’ because he is such an old soul. The Isn’t It Romantic star complimenting her husband said he is extremely smart and really good for her because he keeps her grounded. While she is a wild child and does whatever she wants whenever she wants, she still supports her through it all.
Interestingly, she even narrated an incident where both of them were heading out for a party with friends, but she also had an appointment, that she was hinting to Nick, that she wanted to cancel. However, the Jonas Brothers singer surprised her and said I will never tell you to cancel work because I know how hard you have worked for it, and instead her friends and he would wait for her to finish and join them later.
While Priyanka and Nick are enjoying marital bliss, they are quite busy on the work front. While Nick as a part of The Jonas Brothers recently released Cool, after Sucker, they will also release around 30 other songs during the year. On the other hand, Priyanka is busy working on The Sky Is Pink with Shonali Bose, and will also be seen in Cowboy Ninja Viking with Chris Pratt in 2020.
