Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have been contemporaries for the longest time, and while their supposed rivalry is always the talk of the town, they have always denied it. In a recent interview, Salman said there is really no rivalry between the Khans because while they know their craft, he is actually surviving on mediocre talent and luck in Bollywood.

The Dabangg actor said while people have criticised Aamir Khan and SRK for their recent setbacks, they will bounce back like always. Salman said it is not like both the Khans are choosing bad or worse films, there are times when even the films he has chosen haven’t worked well. However, after one film works, they are back. He also added that both Shah Rukh and Aamir are legends, and while people say a lot about them, he should be the one who should be worried whether he will make money.

Salman’s response comes after SRK’s Zero and Aamir’s Thugs of Hindostan did not do well at the box office, as did Tubelight. While the combined budget of the films was reported to be at 600 crores, they also managed to make 800 crores around the world. Salman said, while both he and Kabir Khan expected Tubelight to be a hit like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, people wanted to see a happy film on Eid, but this time it made them cry and they even went into depression.

On the film front, Salman is busy gearing up for his Eid release Bharat, which is set hit theatres on June 5 and will see Katrina Kaif in the female lead role. He is also busy working on Dabangg 3 which will release later this year in December.
