Jealousy leads to murder of Russian model & Instagram influencer, Ekaterina Karaglanova

Russian police have arrested a man who is suspected of murdering Ekaterina Karaglanova, a popular lifestyle blogger and model, whose body was found in a suitcase in her apartment in Moscow.

Accordng to popular Russian tabloids, the suspect is a 33-year-old acquaintance, who had grown jealous after learning Karaglanova planned to go on holiday with another man.

Karaglanova's body was discovered by her parents and landlord on Friday, in a suitcase in the hallway of her apartment building in Moscow, police said.

The 24-year-old who had studied at a medical university, ran a travel, fashion and lifestyle blog on Instagram and had more than 80,000 followers.
