Deepika Padukone clarifies, she won't be working with #metoo accused filmmaker

It was just a few weeks ago that the hashtag #notmydeepika was trending on Twitter. This online furore gained momentum after Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted outside filmmaker Luv Ranjan's house in Mumbai.

Deepika's fans believed the actress had signed a film with the filmmaker who has allegedly been accused for sexual misconduct. However, as per reports in the media, the actress has clarified her stand.

In an interview to a magazine, when the actress was questioned if she would work with someone who has been accused of sexual misconduct, the actress replied, "No, I would not."

Deepika is known for her straightforwardness and frank approach. Her response should reassure her fans that the actress will stand by what she believes in.
