Actor Salman Khan made an unexpected announcement about his film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He took to social media to say that the film, Inshallah, has been postponed and will not release on Eid 2020. However, he didn’t mention any reason for the change.
The film was also supposed to star Salman and Alia Bhatt together for the first time. According to reports, Alia had already begun prepping for a song sequence. A set for shooting the same was also reportedly constructed in Mumbai.
After the news broke up, rumours about why the film is postponed have been doing rounds on the internet. A source was quoted by a leading media organisation saying, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali respects and loves his actors and suggestions are welcome but not if they aim to alter the narrative. Hence, he has taken the decision to shelve the film. However, they are still friends and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has immense love and respect for him.”
In the announcement, Salman said that he will bring another release for his fans for Eid 2020. According to reports, the film could be Kick 2 or Wanted 2.
