It is almost a year since Priya Prakash Varrier became an internet sensation for her 10-second wink in the song Manikya Malaraya Poovi. However, as the film is set to release on February 14, the internet star acting in the Malayalam-language romantic comedy Oru Adaar Love earlier revealed that she is quite tired of winking because she has done it more than 200 times.
In a recent interview, Priya revealed that immediately after the wink video went viral, she was not given cell phones, however, she said since the fame came instantly her family kept her under house arrest. She went on to reveal that her parents were tensed because the media would turn up at her door unannounced and she even ended up giving interviews after coming back from college in her uniform. Oru Adaar Love is directed by Omar Lulu and revolves around college romance with Priya Prakash Varrier and Noorin Sherif in the lead roles. However, she is busy with other Bollywood projects and is currently also working on Prasanth Mampully’s Sridevi’s Bungalow, which has been shrouded in controversy.
