Satyamev Jayate was very traumatic for me, had to consult a doctor: Aamir Khan

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has had an illustrious career spanning over two decades, and while he has done many films, recently, he revealed that it was actually a television show which took a toll on him. At a recent 'Giving Matters' at NASSCOM Technology and Leadership Forum, the Thugs Of Hindostan actor revealed that he had a lot of trouble while shooting for Satyameva Jayate

Aamir Khan talking about the show said that it was very traumatic for him because he saw a very different India. He added that going through the entire journey of the first season made him very brittle emotionally and that left him in very bad shape. The 53-year-old actor said that at the end of one year, he could not go out because he would just break down for no reason at all. He went on to say that it troubled him more because he wasn’t used to distancing himself while listening to people’s emotional turmoil. 

The Dangal actor made the revelation after one of the guests who came on the show narrated a story about his son who was killed in road rage. Aamir said he couldn’t help but think of his son Junaid at that time, and what would he have done, if something like that happened to him. He added that he saw people and everything differently after filming for Satyameva Jayate, which turned out be quite an enriching experience for him.
