Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot on November 14-15 in 2018, however, their reception only happened a month later. Interestingly, the reception for Bollywood celebrities saw the likes of Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif attend it, and that surprised a lot of people, given their history with the pair.
In a recent interview, Ranveer said he was really happy that both Katrina and Anushka were present at the wedding because they weren’t there for the sake of it. He went on to add that both the actors were there to wish them well, and it was a really lovely gesture. While Ranveer is reported to have dated Anushka soon after his debut film Band Baaja Baraat, they did do quite a films after but haven’t been in touch since then, according to several reports. On the other hand, Deepika and Katrina reportedly shared animosity soon after Ranbir and Deepika split.
Interestingly, soon after meeting at the reception, Deepika and Katrina are said to have started following each other on social media and fans couldn’t have asked for anything better. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone apparently dated each other for more than four years but kept it under wraps till weeks before their wedding. On the film front, after the successful release of Simmba, Ranveer is also set for the promotions of Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar and set to release on February 14.
