Actor Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput are an adorable couple and their pictures on social media are proof! In a recent interview with a leading magazine, Shahid said that Mira often asks him to be a little calm in terms of parenting. “My wife tells me that I am a little obsessive and protective and that I need to calm down a little bit. I tell her that she is too casual,” he said.
Shahid and Mira tied the knot in 2015 and the couple has two children - Misha and Zain.
“Having said that, we try and find the middle ground which I think is good for the kids because you need to have both types of parents. If both are too obsessive or both are too careless I don’t think that works, so you need to find that balance,” said the Padmaavat actor.
Shahid also recollected the first time he met Mira. “It was a lovely evening and light was falling on her face. She just turned towards me and smiled and said something. I was like she is so young but I like her, I thought if something is wrong with me,” he shared.
Shahid will next be seen in Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also stars Kiara Advani.
