Justin Bieber slammed by fans for supporting Chris Brown amidst sexual harassment allegations
Canadian singer Justin Bieber is facing backlash after a comment he made on Chris Brown’s recent video on Instagram. Chris, who was recently released from police custody in Paris, posted a video of him dancing on Instagram with the caption “We working” and Justin, who has been friends with the US singer for the longest time replied saying, “No one can touch you ur the GOAT”, which fans have not really supported.
Chris Brown and two others were arrested after a model filed a case against the singer for allegedly raping her. However, the Paris prosecutor has now said that the singer is allowed to leave France but the investigations are ongoing. After Justin Bieber’s comment a lot of his fans expressed their concern as one said "Justin you missed the incredible opportunity to stay silent". However, another said that the fact Justin is supporting an abuser and a rapist makes her sick because she looked up to the Purpose singer, and it is really disappointing and she should really educate himself about the whole issue.
Chris Brown has released a statement on social media saying that he wants to make it perfectly clear to all his fans and people on social media that the allegations are false. He also went on to add that it is really disrespectful to him, his daughter and the family because it is against his character and morals. However, this is not the first time that Chris has been in trouble with the law. In 2018, a woman accused him of allegedly holding her down and raping her. A little over 10 years ago, he also pleaded guilty to assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna, while they were in a relationship.
