Watch: Priyanka Chopra reveals the reason why her mother was upset about her wedding on The Ellen Show
Priyanka Chopra recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for the second time.
It was the 36-year-old actress' first appearance on the show post-wedding and Ellen DeGeneres, who was curious about Priyanka and Nick Jonas' big fat wedding asked her details about the ceremonies.
"It was a super intimate function with just 200 people. Usually Indian weddings are like thousand people at least. We had only 200 because both of us have giant families... We just wanted to keep it super intimate, about just family," Priyanka said.
The actress also revealed that her mother, Madhu Chopra wasn't too happy in having only 200 people in the guest list. "For an Indian family and an Indian wedding, 200 is less. My mother was so upset with me the whole time that she was like 'I need to have another party for the 150 thousand people I know. How can I not invite my jeweller, how can I not invite my hairdresser? So this was the whole conversation," Priyanka shared.
Priyanka Chopra was on the show to promote her latest film Isn't It Romantic?, in which she shares screen with Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth and Adam DeVine. While at the show, she also discussed her plan to make a movie out of American-Indian-Swiss spokeswoman (also personal secretary of Osho) Ma Anand Sheela's life.
