Despite Kangana Ranaut’s sister, Rangoli Chandel taking direct potshots at Taapsee Pannu, the Manmarziya actress has refused to react. As per some media reports, the actress was quoted saying, "I am not reacting to this. I am way too taken up with looking at the positive side of people, things in general and my own life. I genuinely have no time to spare for this.” A source which knows both Kangana and Taapsee well says, “This is just baat ka batangad (making a mountain out of a molehill). Taapsee has nothing against Kangana. She didn’t mean to insult her by not mentioning her. Taapsee doesn’t want to get into a slinging match with Kangana’s sister.”
It all began when the trailer of Kangana Ranaut's Judgementall Hai Kya dropped and celebrities like Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu were impressed. Tweeting out her praise for the film, Taapsee wrote, “This is so cool!!!! Always had high expectations out of this one n this looks so worth it!.”
Kangana's sister Rangoli, who is known for lashing out at celebrities, wrote, "Kuch log Kangana ko copy kar ke he apni dukaan chalate hain, magar pls note, they never acknowledge her not even a mention of her name in praising the trailer, last I heard Taapsee ji said Kangana needs a double filter and Taapsee ji you need to stop being a sasti copy."
Coming to Taapsee’s defence, Anurag Kashyap, tweeted out to Rangoli, telling her that she was taking things to far. To which she asked the director to, ‘back off’
Kangana Ranaut has reacted to the whole spat and come out in support of Rangoli saying that her sister was protecting her like Anurag was protecting Taapsee.
The film, Judgemental Hai Kya, which also stars Rajkummar Rao, will release on July 26.
