After Kabir Singh, reports suggest that Shahid Kapoor will be seen in the remake of Telugu film Jersey, starring Nani.
According to reports, Karan Johar is interested in remaking the film in Hindi and has approached Shahid for the same. However, no official announcement has been made yet.
Directed by Gautam Tinnanuri, Jersey is the story of 36-year-old cricketer Arjun, who returns to his passion, cricket towards the end of his career. Released earlier this year, Jersey was a super hit at the box office in Tollywood.
That apart, Karan Johar is busy with his next big project, Takht, which has a star cast of Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jahnvi Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, among others.
