Virat Kohli fined INR 500 for using drinking water to wash cars at home

Kohli, whose house is located in Gurugram DLF Phase 1, was also issued a challan for water wastage.

While the Indian Captain is busy with the ICC World Cup in England, his authorities back home reportedly used drinking water to clean his cars and was fined for the same. The fine amount is Rs. 500.

Kohli, whose house is located in Gurugram DLF Phase 1, was also issued a challan for water wastage.

According to reports, his neighbours lodged a complaint suggesting that about half a dozen cars – including two SUVs – are parked in Kohli’s house and thousands of litres of drinking water was being wasted in washing them by the cricketer’s domestic help. Many localities in Delhi and North India is facing water crisis, this summer.

Meanwhile, at the ICC World Cup, the Indian team won its first match against South Africa as Rohit Sharma bagged a century.
