Kylie Jenner becomes youngest self-made billionaire ever, beats Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg

Kylie Jenner has quite a following on Instagram and with her makeup line has made quite a lot of money, however, on Tuesday,she officially entered the billionaire club, according to Forbes. Apart from being the 2,057th billionaire in the world, she also earned all that money at 21, two years faster than Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, who gained the title in 2008. 

Most popularly known for Kylie Cosmetics, a makeup company she runs with the help of her mother Kris Jenner, Kylie been in the public eye from a very young age. Sister to Kim Kardashian, she appeared on the popular reality television show Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s for the longest time before going solo. Her makeup company is estimated at 360 million dollars in sales in 2018. Interestingly, Kylie becomes a billionaire at a time when the number of billionaires in the world are decreasing from 2,208 to 2,153. If that wasn’t enough, Kylie’s most popular cosmetics product, which is the lip kit, sold out in less than a minute on the day of its launch.

Most of Kylie’s sales for her cosmetics brands is reportedly from her Instagram account which has over 128 million followers but that is not all as she also has around 26.7 million followers on Twitter. Being one of the most viewed accounts on Snapchat, in 2018, when Kylie posted “soo over” it affect the stock price of the social media company, making them lose around 1 billion dollars.
