Musical fountain, dance show set to stand out at Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta wedding celebrations
The performance is said to be a collaboration between 150 Indian and international artistes and it will be held at the Dhirubhai Ambani Square at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai on Sunday.
One of the most awaited weddings of the year is set to happen tonight as Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta tie the knot with each other. With the mehendi ceremony taking place on Friday, it has been revealed that there will be a splendid performance a day after the ceremony. It will see a musical fountain and even a dance show which is set on the theme of the Raas Leela of Lord Krishna and Radha and the Gopikas of Vrindavan.
While the fountain is set to have colourful movements, it will be followed by a dance performance and an aerial dance act above the stage, to signify a symmetry between water, earth and sky. The performance is said to be a collaboration between 150 Indian and international artistes and it will be held at the Dhirubhai Ambani Square at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai on Sunday.
Interestingly, the musical fountain was already showcased by Nita Ambani, mother of Akash at an inaugural function for nearly 2,000 underprivileged children from various city-based NGOs. Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash is set to get married to diamond merchant Russell Mehta;s daughter Shloka Mehta at Trident Hotel in the Bandra Kurla Complex later today, and the festivities are set to continue into the night.
