Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar at Akash Ambani's wedding

Bollywood’s Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar recently attended Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding ceremony, and interestingly they both wore different outfits with the same colour. Being very close to each other, we are not surprised they even think alike as both of them appeared in bright yellow ensembles, incidentally also designed by the same designer - Sabyasachi.

Karan posting about their outfits on his Instagram stories wrote, “Cut from the same cloth” making a lot of their fans love their outfits and their sense of humour at the same time. While Alia looked gorgeous in a bright yellow embroidered lehenga choli, Karan also had a yellow kurta which he paired with white pajamas, and a chudidar, keeping their style game on point. Being quite active on Instagram, Alia shared a picture with the caption, "Eternal Sunshine" as Karan said "Fluorescent Shaadi Vibes" However, the Bollywood bigwig immediately posted the picture saying that it was in fact from the same cloth like most people thought, and deflected trolls in time.

Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding saw some of the biggest celebrities in film industry show up in their most stunning attires. Interestingly, the celebrations also saw Hardik Pandya and Karan Johar unite after their Koffee With Karan Season 6 controversy, and even shake a leg and have a blast at the wedding. On the film front, Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt are getting ready for the release of Kalank, a Hindi period film starring the likes of Sonakshi Sinha and Madhuri Dixit, along with Varun Dhawan, on April 19.
