A popular face in the Marvel Universe, Samuel L Jackson’s character Nick Fury is receiving quite a lot of praise for the latest film Captain Marvel. In a recent interview, Samuel, who's known for popular films like Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained, was asked if he would like to act in a Bollywood film - and almost immediately, he said Baahubali, surprising a lot of fans all over.

Jackson said he would like to act in Baahubali 3, if a sequel is ever made of the film. The answer took interviewer and YouTuber Prajakta Koli by surprise, and when she asked him if he had even watched the film, Samuel said, yes!

The 2015 film was an Indian epic directed by SS Rajamouli, starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in lead roles. The sequel for the film was made in 2017 and called Baahubali: The Conclusion, following the story of a sibling rivalry between Amarendra Baahubali and Bhallaladeva, set in medieval India. Both the films were shot in Telugu and Tamil, but were also dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam.

Baahubali: The Beginning was made with a budget of INR 180 crore, which also made it the most expensive Indian film ever. However, upon its release, Baahubali raked in a gross of INR 650 crore, becoming the highest grossing film in the country, and also, the highest grossing Indian film worldwide.

The film was also the highest grossing dubbed film ever, as of 2015. Although, as of 2019, it sits at number seven on the all-time list, with Dangal being at the top as the highest grossing Indian film ever.
