Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan does not shy away from showering praise on younger actors, and while the most recent recipient was Gully Boy’s Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ranbir Kapoor has received praise again. Amitabh, who is currently working with Ranbir Kapoor on Brahmastra was recently all praise for the actor in an interview, and said the Wake Up Sid actor is terrific with his acting skills.
In the very same interview, Amitabh said Ranbir Kapoor is a very talented and he has also told him that he has a God-gifted face, through which he expresses everything by doing nothing. Amitabh, who does not fail to send a letter to the current crop of actors, said that the current generation of Bollywood is a very talented bunch and it is always a joy to watch them perform on screen. Interestingly, while Ranbir Kapoor has been in the industry for a little over 10 years, this will be the first time that he will be acting with Amitabh Bachchan in a film, which is set to be a trilogy.
Produced by Karan Johar, Brahmastra has been directed by Ayan Mukerji and will see Alia Bhatt play the lead, with Amitabh and Ranbir. The film also stars Akkineni Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy, along with Dimple Kapadia and Divyendu Sharma in important roles, and is set to release on December 20, later this year. Amitabh Bachchan is currently enjoying the success of Badla, a film with Pink’s Taapsee Pannu, and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
