A little over a month before Avengers: Endgame releases worldwide, co-director Joe Russo has announced that he will be visiting India to interact with fans in the country. This will be the first of many visits across the worls, while he will be visiting India on April 1 and 2, as a part of the promotions before the release of the film on April 26.

The Avengers director is one-half of the famed Russo brothers, the other being Anthony, and is reportedly quite excited for his tour in the Asia Pacific region. He has picked Mumbai as his chosen location in India.

Talking about the visit in an interview, he said, “I am absolutely thrilled with the passionate response Avengers: Infinity War received in India, and cannot wait for you to see Avengers: Endgame.” The film is a sequel to Avengers: Infinity War, which released in 2018, and brought 22 superheroes together to fight supervillain Thanos. However, the film ends without any result as all the heroes get wiped off the planet, because of the infinity stones. The recently released Captain Marvel has given viewers a background of the character, before she makes an appearance in Avengers: Endgame to help them defeat Thanos.

Avengers: Infinity War made a whopping INR 292 crore in India, and the upcoming film is set to star Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, along with Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson. The film will release in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
