Former Bollywood actor Sameera Reddy is expecting her second child, and while she is busy preparing for the new person in her life, she has reportedly been body-shamed. At a recent event, the 38-year-old actor said she was being criticised by trolls for ‘not looking so hot’ today as compared to when she made her debut. The actor gave them a fitting response.

Sameera said she has a question for all the body shamers, “I want to ask people who indulge in body shaming, you have also taken birth through your mom’s body, right? And after giving birth, did you ask your mom, is she still hot?”

She went on to add that while the trolls may enjoy shaming, it is very wrong and disgraceful. Interestingly, Sameera took the example of one of Bollywood’s most loved actors, Kareena Kapoor and said not everybody can look hot like her even after pregnancy.

Kareena has been praised for looking the same even after the birth of Taimur Ali Khan, her son with Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. Sameera ended her response by saying, “I am quite happy with my figure, and enjoying my pregnancy”.

Sameera shot to fame with her 2002 film Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, after which she went on to do Musafir in 2004 followed by Taxi No 9211 and Race in 2006 and 2008. The actor is expecting her second child with husband and entrepreneur Akshai Varde, with whom she already has a son, born in 2015.
