Rohit Shetty is known to make Bollywood action blockbusters that are loved by all, and his last film Simmba with Ranveer Singh speaks for itself.
Interestingly, Rohit Shetty is currently working with Akshay Kumar, and at a recent event, he revealed that working with the Pad Man actor is actually quite an achievement for him, as they've had a long association before the film.
In his directorial venture, Rohit is working with Akshay on Sooryavanshi, where the latter plays a policeman, a striking feature in Shetty’s films.
Talking about working with Akshay, Rohit said he'd started off by using a few body doubles for the actor in the film Suhaag, and then they also worked on the television show Khatron Ke Khiladi - before they decided to finally work on a film together.
Rohit added that with Akshay’s experience of over 30 years in the film industry, he has always got an opportunity to learn with him and others like Salman Khan and even Ajay Devgn.
While Rohit previously made Singham with Ajay Devgn, he was also asked if he would want to make a film on a female police officer, and he said he will definitely look to make one in the future.
Rohit said he does have a story in mind, but does not want to reveal who would be the suitable actress for the role yet. Rohit is also working on Sooryavanshi, which is being co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, and will see Akshay Kumar in the lead.
