Vicky Kaushal is busy enjoying the success of all his recent Bollywood films - from Raazi in 2018 to URI: The Surgical Strike in 2019. While he has also bagged Takht with Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal has always held Anurag Kashyap in high regard, and it was revealed on Koffee With Karan too. In a recent interview, Vicky revealed why he would love to work with Anurag Kashyap and we totally agree.

Showering praise on the director, Vicky said Anurag Kashyap brings out a new side in him and allows him to work on his character. The URI actor said he actually wants to work with him every three years as he is able to shed all dead cells as an actor, which will keep him going for another three years. While doing it organically, Vicky said Anurag tells him what to think but never directs him because he trusts and knows his true potential. Interestingly, the Raazi actor also shares that he lived a protected childhood and the only time he travelled alone was with the director as an assistant for Gangs of Wasseypur

Vicky Kaushal and Anurag Kashyap have worked together in films like Manmarziyaan and Raman Raghav 2.0, both of which received rave reviews. Vicky will also be the lead in an untitled horror film by Karan Johar, before working with Shoojit Sircar on Udham Singh, and Takht later with Karan Johar again.
