Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone

Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone is definitely the biggest star in the film industry right now and she has worked with the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh too. After Padmaavat in 2018, she will now be seen with Vikrant Massey in Chhapak, which is set to release in 2020. However, in a recent interview when Salman was asked why he hasn’t worked with her yet, he had the most surprisingly reply.

Salman said he actually doesn’t know why they haven’t worked together in a film yet but it may also be because they haven’t got an offer yet. However, in the same interview, he said Deepika is a big star so it has to be worth her while to do a film with him. Interestingly, it was earlier revealed that Salman and Deepika were supposed to work together in the Sooraj Barjatya film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo but she rejected the offer and the role went to Sonam Kapoor. In 2018, Priyanka Chopra too discontinued working in Salman Khan’s Bharat mid-way and while the reason is unknown, director Ali Abbas Zafar said it was because she was busy with marriage preparations with Nick Jonas. However, Salman wasn’t too happy and said he is fine with her exit as she is busy working with bigger actors in Hollywood.

On the film front, Salman is currently busy shooting for Bharat with Katrina Kaif, who will also be seen with him in the third part of Tiger Zinda Hai. While he is also working on Dabangg 3 with Sonakshi Sinha, he will be seen with Jacqueline Fernandez in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick 2. Along with Katrina, Salman will be seen with Disha Patani, Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover in the supporting roles in Bharat.
