Pop music sensation Katy Perry is set to perform in Mumbai on November 16. The singer, who has been to India earlier, will arrive in the country for a musical fest along with Dua Lipa. However, before she will sing at the fest, there are reports that Karan Johar will be hosting a party for her.
Known for his extravagant dos, Karan will organise a cocktail and dinner party for the singer that will be attended by the A-list of Bollywood. This is not the first time that the director has entertained a Hollywood guest. Karan had earlier thrown a bash for Will Smith and director Darren Aronofsky.
Katy had previously visited India when she performed at the opening ceremony of T20 League in 2012 in Chennai, while her debut trip was a visit in 2008 when she took a trip to the Taj Mahal with her then beau, Russell Brand.
In an official statement, Katy talked about returning to India for the concert and sharing stage with Dua Lipa. "I am so happy to be returning to India and excited to headline my first-ever performance in Mumbai. I am looking forward to seeing and singing with all of my Indian KatyCats," she said.
