Amitabh Bachchan apologises to fans for not attending the weekly Sunday meet and greet
The Sunday meet and greet outside Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow in Mumbai has been an ongoing ritual for almost 36 years now. Every Sunday, Big B greets a sea of fans who queue up outside his house to catch a glimpse of the superstar. But the 77-year-old actor couldn't meet and greet his fans this Sunday as he is currently recovering and resting.
Big B took to social media to apologise to his fans as he couldn't meet them.

Sharing pictures of fans waiting outside his house for Sunday darshan, he wrote, "I convalesce .. but they still come for the Sunday meet .. my apologies .. could not come out."
On Friday, October 18, news that the actor being admitted to Nanavati hospital spread like wildfire. While some reports suggested that he was hospitalised for a routine check-up, others suggested a fast-deteriorating liver condition led to him being admitted.
On Friday night, Amitabh Bachchan was discharged from the hospital.
