World N Two tennis star Rafael Nadal marries his partner Xisca Perello at a wedding held at a castle in Mallorca, Spain. They have been together for 14 years, as per media reports.
Nadal, who has 19 Grand Slam singles titles to his credit, celebrated his wedding with a reported crowd of 350-guests at a private ceremony. The Twitter page of Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has tweeted out a message with congratulations. But, Nadal’s own page has been silent on the event, with the only tweet being a bay view from the castle, accompanied only by an emoji.
Many unconfirmed details about the wedding are out on the internet including Juan Carlos I, the king of Spain from 1975 to 2014, being part of the guest list. Michelin-star chef, Quique Dacosta, is also reported to have been in charge of the catering.
Even though there are unconfirmed reports that guests were asked not to take photos of the wedding, the internet seems to have found its own sources of information. Spanish dress designer Rosa Clara revealed about the wedding dress design for the event and also shared a photograph of the couple at the venue.
