Late celebrity Sridevi's guest appearance in Shah Rukh's upcoming movie Zero will be the English Vinglish star's one last appearance on the silver screen. Earlier it was speculated that Sridevi would be featuring in a song in the film. However, recently in an interview, King Khan said that the actress of Chandni fame would be seen in a cameo sequence and not in any song. He also says that it is heartening to have had shared a screen with her during the early days of his career in the film Army (1996).

Talking about Sridevi's demise he said, "I wish she hadn’t passed away. None of us wishes, we wish she was alive and it would’ve been nicer. And now, I am just thinking, if we have a trial for the film, she would’ve been the first person, I would’ve called. So, it’s sad.''

Zero is a romantic drama film expected to release on December 21, 2018. The movie is directed by the Tanu Weds Manu director Aanand L Rai starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif produced by Gauri Khan. The makers launched the movie's trailer on SRK's birthday and have also released three songs from the film. Other Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Juhi Chawla, Karisma Kapoor, Ganesh Acharya, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Remo D'Souza would also be seen along with the Judaai star in the special sequence.
