Avengers: Endgame trailer: Captain Marvel explains why she didn't fight Thanos earlier
Anticipation for Avengers: Endgame touches a new high as Marvel Studios unveiled another clip from the upcoming film. A full scene rather than a stylised teaser-trailer, the clip shows Captain Marvel meeting up with the remaining Avengers to talk strategy.
Part of the footage that was screened recently at CinemaCon last week, the 1.14-minute video begins with Black Widow informing the remaining Avengers that Thanos has used the Stones again. While, both, Bruce Banner and James Rhodes are uncertain about facing Thanos again, Carson Danvers tells the team that things will be different now that they have her. A statement that riles up Rhodes, who asks her "Hey, new girl! Everybody in this room is about their superhero life and if you don't mind me asking where the hell have you been all this time?"
Turns out that while the Avengers were busy protecting the earth, Captain Marvel was attending to matters on other planets in the universe.
Avengers: Endgame starring Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch and Brie Larson will hit theatres on April 26
