The icing on the cake however came when the film won the Best Film, Best Director, Best Editor and Best Writing awards at the Film Critics Guild's Critics Choice Film Awards.

Earlier this morning, tweeting about Andhadhun's China performance, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote,  "#AndhaDhun crosses ₹ 300 cr in #China... Eyes $ 50 million mark... Emerges the third highest grossing Indian film in #China... [Week 3] Fri $ 1.61 mn, Sat $ 3.45 mn, Sun $ 2.93 mn. Total: $ 43.45 million [₹ 303.36 cr]."

Producer Sanjay Routray, who helms Matchbox Pictures, said, " This is turning out to be an incredible April for all of us at Matchbox Pictures! We are both overjoyed and humbled that Sriram's vision and our film is being celebrated across the world, not just at the Box office but also by the critics. It validates our belief in driving good content without unnecessarily thinking about what is 'commercial' and what is 'niche'. Ultimately, a film is 'good' or' bad' and the audience decides that. Kudos to all members of the team who believed in this and gave Andhadhun their very best."
