It's a hattrick at the box office for Bhumi Pednekar with Pati Patni Aur Woh

Diwali saw her as one of the campion rifle dadis in Saand Ki Aankh and November marvelled at her class act as a dark-complexioned, assertive lawyer, who fought social taboos in Bala. And now, we are seeing her in a romcom Pati Patni Aur Woh, where she will be seen opposite Kartik Aryan that's already in its way to success in the box office.

2019 really ended in a great way for Bollywood actor Bhumi Pednekar, who's clearly rounding off the year with a hattrick.

With Pati Patni Aur Woh opening brilliantly, Bhumi is set to make a rare mark in the industry, becoming of the very few actresses who have actually had three successes in a row and that too in one calendar year.

Pati, Patni Aur Woh is riding on positive word-of-mouth and is on its way to becoming a hit especially with a good collection of Rs 9.1 crore in the box office at the weekend. 

Besides, she also won the Variety Asian Satr: Up Next award at the International Film Festival and Awards at Macau recently.

Her last film Bala in which she highlighted the country's obsession with fair skin is a blockbuster and her Diwali release, Saand Ki Aankh also held its ground despite simultaneous release with Housefull 4 and Made in China, which got her noticed in  Bollywood.

"It has been an incredible year for me as an artiste. I have done a variety of roles which are creatively satisfying. I have only strived to give something new to the audiences in theatres," tells an excited Bhumi.

In 2020 the actor will be seen in an array of movies including Alankrita Srivastava's Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, Karan Johar's multi-starrer Takht, Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship with Vicky Kaushal, Durgavati with Akhshay Kumar and Shashank Khaitan's yet-untitled movie opposite Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani.
