Every year, it has got tougher for fans to wait for the next season of Game Of Thrones and after almost a year, HBO has released the first look for Season 8 and it is nothing we expected. The teaser, which is part of the biggest trailer for HBO, is barely four seconds but has one of the most important dialogues in the series, also revealing the kind of turn the upcoming season is going to take.
The teaser shows Sansa Stark meeting Daenerys Targaryen, with Jon Snow for the first time, as the latter approaches her with all her army might. However, what comes next is definitely not most fans would have expected as Sansa, played by Sophie Turner, says, “Winterfell is yours, Your Grace”. Season 8, which is also said to be the last season, is set to release by April, and the clip is rumoured to be from the first episode of the season. Interestingly, Sansa Stark knows about Jon’s allegiance to Daenerys, but it is yet unknown if Bran Stark, also known as the Three-Eyed Raven, will support the race for her to be the Queen of the Iron Throne ruling the Seven Kingdoms.
While Game Of Thrones will be ending, there have been talks about the prequel which is said to be set 5,000 years prior to the events and will feature the Night King, and how he came to be. Emilia Clarke and Maisie Williams were one of the few actors to share their last days of shooting on social media.
