A few days after it was announced that Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi will be playing the role of Narendra Modi, in the biopic on the Prime Minister. The first poster was released on Monday by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Vivek Oberoi is definitely unrecognisable, as he looks perfectly like the former Gujarat CM.

The poster also confirms that Vivek will be playing the role, which was earlier rumoured to be played by Paresh Rawal. However, while the team has been working on the film in terms of the script and story, they will only begin filming only in the last week of January. Released in 23 different languages, the film will be directed by Omung Kumar of Mary Kom fame, as it will be produced by Sandip Singh and Suresh Oberoi. Vivek Oberoi is currently attending various workshops and sessions to be able to perfect the role and distinct mannerisms of the Indian PM.

The untitled film is reportedly going to be shot mostly in Gujarat but will also be shot in other states, depending on the most impact created by Narendra Modi. While this will be the first time Vivek is working Omung, it will be the second time for the latter to have worked with Sandip Singh, the previous one being Sarbjit. The film is said to be about the journey of Narendra Modi from being a tea-seller to finally getting to the post of the Prime Minister in India and is set to release before the 2019 elections.
