The only thing more impressive than the computer-generated animals in The Lion King are the A-listers who voice the characters. And with just two weeks to go for the live action film, Disney released a series of images of the actors face-to-face with their iconic characters.
The portraits were posted on Twitter by Disney with the caption The Pride. The images capture the essence of the character and the actor voicing them, almost flawlessly.
Beyoncé also shared the image of her and her character Nala and the Beyhive is buzzing. Model Winnie Harlow commented on the post “She is Queen, hear her roar.”
The other images feature Donald Glover with Simba, Seth Rogen with Pumba, Billy Eichner with Timon, John Oliver with Zazu and more.
